What's the difference between acrylic and hot-melt adhesive?
Acrylic adhesive (like PRO Packing Tape) offers excellent clarity, aging resistance, and reliable performance across temperature ranges. Hot-melt provides aggressive initial tack but can yellow over time. Acrylic is the better choice for long-term storage and e-commerce fulfillment where boxes may sit before delivery.
Which size should I order?
2" × 110 yards is the most popular choice for high-volume operations — fewer roll changes per shift. 2" × 55 yards works well for lower-volume teams or when storage space is limited. 3" × 110 yards is ideal for large-format boxes or when a wider seal is required.
Clear or tan — which is better for my operation?
Functionally identical. Clear lets box artwork show through — preferred for branded packaging. Tan is easy to spot on a packing line and signals 'sealed' at a glance, which helps with QC inspection.
