What's the difference between gaffer tape and duct tape?
Gaffer tape has a matte (non-reflective) finish, tears cleanly by hand, and removes without leaving residue. Duct tape has a shiny plastic surface, requires scissors for a clean cut, and leaves sticky residue. On a professional set, gaffer tape is the standard.
